Here is How You Can Receive Jesus Christ:

1. You were created to enjoy a relationship with God.

God designed our world so that everything would exist in perfect harmony.  He made humankind in His image, so that we had the capacity to worship Him and walk with Him. Because God created you, He loves you.  You exist to glorify Him in a real relationship.

2. Our sin has separated us from God.

Mankind has rebelled against God, choosing to live for ourselves instead of for Him.  This rebellion, called sin, has come between us and God.  This sin brings about brokenness in our personal lives, our relationships, and also our world.  Not only has it separated us from Him and His perfect design, it also brings judgment and death.

3. Jesus died in our place for our sins.

Because God loves us, He sent His only son Jesus to rescue us from our sins.  The Bible says that “God shows his love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).  Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross as payment for our sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead.  His resurrection proves that God has accepted Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins.

4. We can be restored to God through faith in Jesus.

If we will admit that we have sinned against God, turn away from those sins, and believe that trusting in Jesus is the only way we can be restored to God, we will be saved.  The Bible says that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).  This salvation restores us to God’s original design.  We can worship Him and walk with Him forever.

You Can Pray the Prayer Below to Accept Jesus Christ as Your Savior.

Dear God,

I admit that I have sinned against you.  I confess that Jesus died for my sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose from the grave to give me new life.  I turn from my sin and place my trust in Jesus as my only way to be right with you.  Please forgive me, change my life, and show me how to walk with you.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
